based on acoustic foam used in sound recording studios and anechoic chambers, these modular series of cast concrete scultpures explore the physicality of sound through shifts in materiality. exhibited as both floor and wall works, these geometric grids form muted objects and landscapes.

the collaborative publication CONCRETE SOUND, written with Christine Shan Shan Hou, was produced in conjunction with the exhibition of the same title at Norte Maar.
