based on acoustic foam used in sound recording studios and anechoic chambers, these modular series of cast concrete sculptures explore the physicality of sound through shifts in materiality. exhibited as both floor and wall works, these geometric grids accumulate to form resistant objects and muted landscapes.

the publication CONCRETE SOUND written in collaboration with poet Christine Shan Shan Hou was produced in conjunction with the exhibition of the same title at Norte Maar.
